Hi Latisha.
I am writing to thank you for the Ladies Who Lunch Series. I won’t be able to make it this year however the last lunch continues to come back to me as I embark on a new journey. At the last lunch we spoke briefly about catering. I am an aspiring chef. I spoke to Carline and Renae as well and Carline told me to set up a tasting. Needless to say I never did it.

Since the last brunch God has blessed me with the joy of motherhood. After spending 6 months on bed rest I was blessed with my daughter Zoë on 11/29/12. She has changed my life in the best way. Anyway, I am moving to Atlanta and starting a new career with Entrust Bankcard. I have business training and a long history of finance and accounting in my blood. You have inspired me. I remember your story, the story of so many of the women I met and I am ready to trust God and go for it. So thank you so much for Ladies who Lunch. I may never get the opportunity to cater for you but I am grateful to have met you.

For Lent I promised to do at least 2 things each day towards my dream. Sending my thanks and appreciation to you was on my list.

All the best for Ladies Who Lunch, Ashtyn and all your future plans.

With appreciation,
Melissa

Linett Bell Good morning, I first have to say yesterday was a Blessing and I have a new energy today. I have reorganized and prioritize my list with dates to move forward with my business.

Patricia Birch I woke up this morning, thought of yesterday’s event and it hit me that there isn’t ANYTHING I cannot do – doesn’t matter the circumstances! That was an amazing thought to have this morning. Today’s action step is scheduling non-negotiable time daily for building my business.

Candice Nicole First, I would like to say THANK YOU for proving this platform! I traveled from DC with my partner to attend this luncheon and I walked away even MORE inspired. What was different for me today? Me waking up and knowing I am not alone. All of the ideas I have in my head, I can execute and MAKE HAPPEN. I will begin to write all of them now as I try to keep them in my head lol, but I just now know I can definitely make it happen. This was a “Okay, I GET IT NOW” moment. Can’t wait until you come to the DC area!

Audra Hamlett-Ambrose Yesterday’s Luncheon was incredible! It was the first one I’ve attended. I walked away with so many positive and inspirational messages and feeling of empowerment. I’m excited about incorporating each and every panelist uplifting words of advice into my everyday life. Knowing you self worth, not comprising and surrounding yourself with positive people is a must! Thanks Latisha for offering such a much needed gathering and I’m looking forward to the next one!

Letia Mitchell I am believe I am building a strong foundation which represents the many imperfect layers of me, which I absolutely love!. In the building my goals brick by brick, I have lately tried to really and truly be in the moment of each stage. Sometimes in trying to build, I have to take the time to hone in on what am I learning, who is speaking to me, be open to receive, is it good for me, is there a lesson for me in doing this and most of all am I happy or how is it making me feel….the outcome. If favorable, keep building. If not favorable, revisit – ask the hard questions (did I miss something or how could I not know) and start over and build with what I learned with a steady pace; don’t rush and be observant! And if by chance, I have to do it over again; HEY as learned from our luncheon…it’s definitely OK!! Since the luncheon, my bricks are going to be more confident. Ms. Latisha Daring…doing this 21 Day Challenge and then doing Oprah’s 21 Day Meditation also (can you tell!), by the end of the month – I’m going to be sooooo intune with my spirit and mind! This is wonderful, I am so looking forward to it! Well I am off to a meeting. Everyone have a nice evening!
